Setup: Place rooks first (not adjacent, gap between them). Then place remaining pieces — king must go between the rooks. The last open square between the rooks is reserved for the king.
Castling: King slides next to rook, they swap places. Click the rook to castle.
Bishops: No restriction — same or opposite colors allowed.
